We build body armor to the protection level, coverage and fit your program specifies, from concealable vests for close-protection teams to modular plate carriers for tactical units. Every configuration is matched to the threat, the wearer and the equipment it must work with.

Protection levels and configuration

Armor is manufactured to the standard named in your specification. For ballistic protection this is typically NIJ Standard 0101.07, with protection levels HG1, HG2, RF1, RF2 and RF3 defined in NIJ Standard 0123.00. Many tenders still quote the earlier NIJ 0101.06 levels (IIA, II, IIIA, III and IV), and we work to either. Stab and spike protection can be specified to NIJ Standard 0115.00. Configuration options include sizing with female-specific cuts, coverage area, carrier layout, plate compatibility, color or camouflage, and identification panels.

Quality and inspection

Ballistic packages use materials suited to the threat level, such as aramid and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), with ceramic or composite hard plates for rifle-rated protection. Each item is labeled and traceable to its production lot, and inspection covers materials, workmanship, dimensions and fit.

Deliveries are supplied with the documentation your contract requires, such as declarations of conformity, lot traceability records, care and inspection instructions and, where specified, ballistic test reports for the stated standard.

Frequently asked questions

We manufacture to the standard and protection level stated in your tender, including NIJ Standard 0101.07 (levels HG1 to RF3) and the earlier NIJ 0101.06 levels. If your specification uses another standard, such as the UK Home Office Body Armour Standard or VPAM, we will confirm in our quotation how it is met.
